I found your site and wondered if you knew someone that would be interested in hive management if were to set one up in our yard in La Grange, IL.
Hello Jill,
Not sure if you received our response. We have a number of hive management contracts with individuals as well as company’s. If your situation doesn’t fit our service we’ll be happy to refer you to someone who can help you.

Hi-
My name is Julie and I am a preschool teacher in Elmhurst. We are learning about bees and I wanted to find a Bee expert to come in to talk to my students about bees and maybe bring some props or materials you use during bee keeping.
WOuld you be interested in doing a school visit? 30 minutes?
Hello Julie,
Thank-you for your invite. We talked yesterday and I enjoyed speaking with you. I did bring this topic up to my wife, Laura Whitney. She has been a preschool teacher as long as I can remember. I believe she is interested in speaking with your class and will give you a call this week. I know she has a spring break week coming up that could be a good time for her to visit with your school.

Bill,
I used your service to remove a bumble bee hive that had become too active and big. The hive was 4 feet deep under a concrete stoop that was under a wooden deck. It took Noah 4 trips before he had successfully reached the hive and was able to transport to another site working in 90 degree heat in full bee gear. He was just beaming with pride showing me the queen and new queens that were swept up in the bee vacuum ready to be moved to their new location. His diligence and the fact you offered this service saved these pollinators to carry on their important work. As a gardener I am thankful you have the foresight to have a program that saves rather than destroys the hive.
Hi Jeffrey,
Thank you very much for your kind words regarding Noah and our work to save pollinators. It was our pleasure to help relocate these bumble bees for you! We’ll pass on your message to Noah.
Thanks,
Bill
Hello,
I am wondering if there is somewhere I can purchase local beeswax in the Wheaton/chicago land area?
Possibly from you guys?
Thank you!
Days sweet and slow like honey to you and yours.

I’m interesting to by bees like to know how much cost
Bill came out with his assistant to remove bumblebees from under my garden shed. They were fantastic!!! He estimated approx. 500-600 bees.! As I am a senior citizen I have mobility issues, and the bees were getting aggressive at times. He is so informative about the bees, and I could’ve talked to him for hours. If i ever have a bee problem again, I will most definitely call Bill/City Bee Savers.
Thank you,
Elizabeth
Hi Bill,
I bought a bee nuc from you last spring.
This winter I want to put hardware cloth at the opening to stop mice from getting in, is 1/4″ cloth to small for the bees?
