Discover the Buzz: Beekeeping Classes for All Levels!

Get ready to dive into the fascinating world of honey bees! Six of the eight classes in this course will be held online via Zoom, offering an interactive and engaging environment where you’ll have the chance to ask questions and receive personalized answers. If the class grows too large (a happy problem!), we’ll add an extra session each week to ensure everyone gets plenty of time to participate.

Whether you’re a seasoned beekeeper, have just a year or two of experience, or are taking your very first steps into beekeeping, this course is tailored to support your unique journey. Every honey bee colony has its own personality and needs, and so does every beekeeper. Our goal is to provide guidance that fits your specific goals and challenges.

Honey bees live life very differently than we do, and in this course, you’ll explore how they navigate each season and make decisions throughout the year. By getting to know their world, you’ll gain powerful insights into their challenges and learn to evaluate beekeeping advice with confidence.

Navigating Beekeeping Advice: Cutting Through the Buzz

When it comes to beekeeping, asking Google—or even an experienced beekeeper—a question can leave you swimming in answers. The real challenge isn’t a lack of information; it’s figuring out which advice actually applies to your unique situation. You might find several “right” solutions, but none of them may be the perfect fit for your bees.

Honey bees are fascinating creatures with a social structure so complex it could take a lifetime to fully understand. And just when you think you’ve got them figured out, finding practical solutions to their challenges can feel like another lifetime’s work! That’s why connecting with the collective wisdom of seasoned beekeepers is such a valuable part of your journey.

While a six-week course won’t teach you everything there is to know about bees (we wish it could!), it will give you the tools and insights to evaluate advice critically and make confident, informed decisions. You’ll leave equipped to navigate the sea of information and choose what works best for you and your bees.
